Fresno Piano & Organ
was founded in 1973 using the name Conn Organs
of Fresno. For the first few years the company
focused on teaching adults to enjoy the hobby of
music through adult organ classes. In 1978 the
business expanded into selling and renting
acoustic pianos and in 1980 the name was changed
to Fresno Piano & Organ. The company
still occupies its original location, although
the retail and warehousing areas have tripled in
size in order to provide the
largest selection of pianos in the California
Central Valley.
At the time of our founding there were eight
existing retail outlets in Fresno offering
competitive products. Today Fresno Piano
is the only remaining outlet of the original
eight, and we are proud of our stability and the
thousands of customers we have helped in
selecting the best keyboard instruments to fit
their needs.
In April 2001, the founder of Fresno Piano
and Organ retired and the name became
Fresno Piano after the company was purchased
by Jim Fishback. The entire staff remains
unchanged and the company has further expanded
their education programs by offering the only
Authorized Yamaha Music School in the area
starting at ages four through adult. This course
is taught in over 40 countries with over
1,000,000 enrolled students.
Fresno Piano
offers a great selection of the most famous
brands of new and used acoustic pianos,
computerized player pianos, and digital pianos
and keyboards. Whether you're looking for an
inexpensive starter piano or a premium top
quality instrument, Fresno Piano has what
you need. For those not ready to invest in an
instrument, Fresno Piano maintains a
large fleet of rental pianos (see our rental
page for more information).
We are not aware of any sales staff in the
country that offers more years of experience in
the industry than ours, and we're still learning
and growing. Talk about experience – the
professionals at Fresno Piano have an
average of 25 years each in the piano
industry. Recent developments with the
marriage of hi-tech computers, the internet, and
keyboard instruments have allowed our sales
staff to further develop their vast musical
knowledge. They look forward to sharing all the
exciting possibilities with anyone who wants to
experience the joy of making music.
